University of Florida Leftists Resort To Vandalism In Lame Attempt To Stifle Pro-Life Messages

In yet another case of leftists ascribing to the ‘free speech for me, but not for thee’ mantra, students at the University of Florida have gone out of their way to erase, rip down, and otherwise deface pro-life messages shared on campus by the Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapter.
Ahead of University of Florida YAF’s campus lecture with Bay Buchanan, the chapter took to their campus to spread the word about their upcoming event. They wrote information about their lecture in chalk on public sidewalks, and hung posters advertising the talk, but intolerant liberals were apparently unable to control their intolerant urges, and took matters into their own hands.
“We have received a ton of hate while tabling,” noted UF YAF Chairman Daniel Weldon:
“Last night while we were chalking, students removed what we wrote. We rewrote the chalk and went home, but five of our chalkings were destroyed overnight. While tabling today, we made large signs to draw attention to the event. One said “The founder of Planned Parenthood was a racist eugenicist. A student walked by and ripped it down… Students are saying ‘men can’t talk about abortion’ and that we should ‘f***ing leave women alone.’ Leftists don’t want to see pro-life ideas on campus.”
The following video shows UF YAF Vice Chairman Sarah Long giving chase to one of the vandals. “Why do you think it’s ok to destroy other peoples’ property?” she asks repeatedly, with no response given by the leftist who tore down and made off with UF YAF’s poster.
If leftists had any substantive arguments to give in response to the YAF chapter’s pro-life messages, they surely wouldn’t resort to desperate attempts to suppress conservative students or the speakers they host.
Bay Buchanan speaks at the University of Florida on November 14. The lecture is co-sponsored by Young America’s Foundation and the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute. More information can be found here.
