The Center for a Sustainable Society (CSS) at Pacific University in Oregon hosted a so-called “(Un) Valentine’s Day” event yesterday in support of local abortion mills to “celebrate” the holiday of love and the beginning of Lent, according to a tip received through Young America’s Foundation’s Campus Bias Tip Line.
An event advertisement posted on the department’s Instagram invited students to stop by the campus volleyball court to “play some games, win some prizes, and donate to an abortion organization for a chance to win a vibrator.”
Dr. Aimee Wodda, an assistant professor who specializes in “sex-positive criminology,” whatever that may mean, was listed as the contact for the event. She did not immediately respond to the New Guard’s request for comment.
The New Guard did, however, reach a different representative of the office, who remarked, “We believe it is important to support women and people capable of pregnancy in all of their reproductive decisions. Abortion access is under constant attack, you know, so, um, that’s what we tried to fix with this event.”
When asked to explain why a department that purports to be building a “sustainable society” raised funds for the execution of innocent babies, the representative abruptly ended the call.
Pacific University Oregon’s Center for a Sustainable Society’s stated mission is to “provide students with the opportunity to cultivate an engaged community dedicated to ethical solutions to advancing the wellbeing of people both now and in the future”.
Apparently, their twisted idea of an “ethical solution” is the killing of millions of innocent lives through abortion.
Cupid is, presumably, dismayed by this situation.
