United States Senator Ted Cruz and Daily Wire host Michael Knowles are bringing their chart-topping video podcast, Verdict with Ted Cruz, to live venues at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Texas A&M University this month with Young America’s Foundation.
Kicking off their 2021 YAF Tour, the podcasting duo will host a live episode of Verdict on Wednesday, October 13 at 7 p.m. at UW-Madison’s Shannon Hall. The event will be followed by a live episode of the show at Texas A&M University’s Rudder Auditorium on Thursday, October 14 at 7 p.m.
Immediately following its launch last year, Verdict shot up the charts to become the #1 podcast in the nation. Each episode, Sen. Cruz and Knowles break down the most important news stories of the day and reveal what they mean for you. Verdict, goes behind the scenes of the debates that define our country.
Both live Verdict live events will be free and open to the public, in addition to being streamed live on YouTube.com/YAFTV. Ticket information to attend in person is available at YAF.org/verdictlive.
“We’re going to be talking about the top political issues,” said Michael Knowles. “We’ll be talking about what’s going on behind the scenes in Washington, DC in the halls of power.”
“And there may be some fireworks,” Sen. Cruz said. “We may get some lefty students, and we may even get some commie professors coming in to argue in defense of the communist overthrow of our nation.”
This event is part of YAF’s Logan Family Lecture Series. YAF’s unparalleled campus lecture series has featured a powerful lineup of conservative leaders over the years, including Ben Shapiro, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, William F. Buckley, Justice Clarence Thomas, and many more.
The campus events are being held by UW-Madison and Texas A&M chapters of Young Americans for Freedom. Founded in 1960, Young Americans for Freedom boasts hundreds of high school and college chapters across the nation that advocate for conservative ideas through activism projects and speaker events.
