Students at a Catholic university in Missouri were caught on video ripping apart and trampling on a display to honor the lives of unborn babies, according to a tip received through Young America’s Foundation’s Campus Bias Tipline.
Students for Life (SFL) at Saint Louis University participated in the Cemetary of the Innocents project, in which they create a display to honor the lives of children who were murdered through abortion. Some campus leftists became enraged at the sight of it, and began violently ripping flags from the display and yelling at the videographer.
When approached, the students expressed their disapproval of the display.
“…You’re a little b***** and that’s why you put all this up and because you have no right to have an opinion,” one of the girls said.
They continued to destroy the display and hurl profanity while being filmed.
Another student is seen asking the students to allow SFL to have their display undisrupted. To which one of the students replied, “Why can’t you just leave women alone?”
After being asked to acknowledge the free speech of others, the students walked away, continuing to spew profanity.
Overnight, more students were caught disturbing the display.
YAF reached out to Saint Louis University but did not receive a response in time for publication.
In September, YAF reported on the destruction of a 9/11 memorial by a student at Washington University. The display was a part of YAF’s 9/11: Never Forget Project.
This is not the first nor the last time conservatives will face backlash and vitriol from campus leftists. University campuses have become more hostile than ever to opinions that stray from the cult of leftism. The only way to combat this is to unabashedly express your beliefs and continue to fight for what’s right.
