VIDEO: Nearly 200 Crazed Leftists Mob Conservative Students, Harass and Tear Town Display at Binghamton University

You have to see it to believe it. A group of conservative students at Binghamton University were targeted by a crazed leftist mob yesterday. The students were surrounded by nearly 200 leftists who shouted expletives and chants, and who harassed the students and tore down their tabling display. The students were advertising an upcoming Young America’s Foundation lecture featuring renowned economist Dr. Art Laffer on Monday, November 18. The lecture is a part of YAF’s Thomas W. Smith Foundation Free Enterprise Lecture Series.
Students in the video harass the conservative students, taunting them for being conservative and white and argue that “the fact that y’all are comfortable to even do this means that we’re not doing enough.” The conservative students had to be escorted off campus by university police, who feared for the students’ safety. The university did not respond to YAF’s request for comment. Conservative students are being harassed on campuses nationwide. This is not a single, isolated incident– it is evidence of the educational system failing students in America. College campuses are a hostile environment for conservatives. The fact that they cannot exercise their free speech rights without being harassed or mobbed by their leftist peers is a blistering indictment on the failure of colleges to properly educate their students on how to be civilized, mature adults who can handle differing viewpoints. Young America’s Foundation calls on Binghamton University to issue a statement condemning the behavior of the leftist students at the university, and take a stand for their alleged commitment to equality and free speech–regardless of race or viewpoint. If you would like your voice to be heard, consider emailing Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger at [email protected] or 607-777-2131. UPDATE: New York State Assemblyman Douglas Smith sent a letter to President Harvey Stenger in support of the conservative students, and asking the university to take action.
