Nearly 50 leftist students gathered Monday evening to block traffic outside of a YAF campus lecture at the University of Iowa featuring Chloe Cole, a brave detransitioner who has made it her personal mission to expose the fallacies of the Left’s gender ideology.
Unfortunately for them, they failed to prevent the room from filling up with students, faculty members, alumni, legislators, and community members interested in hearing Chloe’s important message.

“Trans lives matter!” The mostly masked crowd of protestors shouted while walking in circles around the intersection.
Chloe certainly agrees with that statement, which is why she’s vigorously fighting to protect young people from making the same life-altering mistakes that she made just a few years ago.
Students lining the sidewalk held signs reading “F**k YAF,” “Trans People Belong in Iowa,” and “Trans Rights Are Human Rights.”
Inside the venue, Chloe drew a standing-room-only crowd of roughly 200 people.
“It’s incredibly difficult for them to challenge the realities of Chloe’s first hand traumatic experience,” Jasmyn Jordan, UIowa YAF chair, told the New Guard. “So all they can do is resort to childish behavior, inconveniencing others and complaining.”
From having its advertising signs run over by vehicles and stolen, to dealing with a leftist student government officer conspiring with the campus ANTIFA club, the YAF chapter fought an uphill battle to make the evening’s event a success.
Chloe Cole is a force to be reckoned with – and Young America’s Foundation is honored to partner with her to bring her important message to campuses throughout the country.
A recording of the lecture and question-and-answer session– Chloe’s first on campus with YAF – will soon premiere on Young America’s Foundation’s YouTube channel.
