A pro-Hamas leftist at the University of California-Los Angeles let his antisemitic views be known last night after encountering an projected advertisement for this evening’s event featuring Robert Spencer, a leading expert in the counter-Jihad movement.
“Do y’all have a permit to be posting that sh–t up there?” the unidentified student asked members of the Young Americans for Freedom chapter.

Leftist UCLA administrators withheld approval of the event for as long as they possibly could until eventually succumbing to YAF’s lawsuit threat, leaving students with very little time to advertise. In order to spread the word effectively, the YAFers created a billboard-style ad for their event using a projector.
Notably, university administrators have continued their efforts to derail the event, taking issue with things including the insurance coverage of the production crew’s rental cars, and suggesting that the fire marshall might not approve of the event. These insurance concerns are certainly surprising given that the school has allowed pro-Hamas leftists to run wild on campus for the past several weeks.
UCLA YAF Chairman Matthew Weinberg and his fellow chapter members masterfully countered every single one of the pro-Hamas talking points that were spewed during the leftist’s two-minute tirade.
In addition to the in-person backlash, an “anti-fascist” online blog and its followers are ridiculously claiming that Robert Spencer–a man who has dedicated his life’s work to fighting radical Islamic terrorism–is a terrorist himself.
Despite the countless obstacles and outlandish accusations that leftists have employed, the event will go forth as planned. Doors open this evening at 5:30 PM in the Bruin Viewpoint Room.
