Will You Commit To #NeverForget The Anniversary Of 9/11?

Join thousands of students across the country on the 17th anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 in remembering the lives taken by radical Islamist terrorists bent on destroying our way of life. The now-iconic displays made up of 2,977 American flags—one for each life snuffed out on September 11—create moving and meaningful memorials on campus quads and high school lawns from coast to coast. Young America’s Foundation provides students with resources and step-by-step guidance to raise funds and create an American flag memorial at your school, schedule a campus-wide moment of silence or prayer, and bring a conservative speaker to your school. Many students returning to campus this fall were too young on 9/11 to have concrete memories of the day our nation came under attack or remember how they felt seeing icons of America’s greatness turned to rubble. To make matters worse, many schools now push a politically correct agenda on the anniversary of the attacks, revising history to avoid their concerns of offending anyone—a sad phenomenon that happens far too often at our nation’s schools. To address this troubling trend of brushing aside the reality of September 11, 2001, Young America’s Foundation launched the 9/11: Never Forget Project to help students create respectful memorials to bring their peers and community together to remember the loss America suffered. Since its inception in 2003, YAF’s 9/11: Never Forget Project has seen more than 10.4 million American flags placed in hundreds of memorials each year, and it has grown to become the largest nationwide campus initiative in America.
