Monday morning, YAF activists joined conservative allies outside the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C., to cheer on and show support for Judge Amy Coney Barrett as she arrived to begin testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Despite dreary weather and amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the crowd’s energy to confirm a principled and eminently qualified jurist to the Supreme Court was unmistakable. Students—some from as far away as California—came together to join the #ConfirmAmy rally.
Outside DC, Young Americans for Freedom chapters across the country continue to build support for Barrett’s confirmation on campus and visit senate offices to urge a speedy vote to confirm Judge Barrett.
Students also continue to sign on to YAF’s petition—found at YAF.org/ConfirmAmy—joining others who’ve added their voices to this historic confirmation process. YAF will continue to collect signatures and distribute them to U.S. Senate offices ahead of the confirmation vote.
