After the University of Michigan announced the creation of a new mechanism for students to “designate” their preferred gender pronouns on class rosters, YAF national chairman Grant Strobl decided to have some fun with the politically correct administrators who instituted the change. Strobl, who serves as chairman of Michigan YAF, logged onto his online student portal and updated his preferred pronoun to “His Majesty.” Consequently, per the university’s own admission, Strobl’s professors are henceforth compelled to refer to His Majesty by His Majesty’s official designation. Considering the university’s enthusiasm about enabling students to identify with biologically baseless pronouns like “ze” and “xyr,” Strobl’s identification of choice should be perfectly fair game. When you make factual reality irrelevant, be prepared for the consequences.
