Evita Duffy-Alfonso is the eldest of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy’s nine children. She is a new mom, wife, and University of Chicago graduate. During her sophomore year of college, she was “canceled” for opposing socialism—an experience that only inspired her to speak out more. She went on to co-found The Chicago Thinker, a conservative and libertarian student publication that famously challenged COVID-era tyranny in one of America’s bluest cities. Around this time, she also began writing for The Federalist, covering campus news, politics, and culture. Her reporting took her into some of Chicago’s most dangerous, gang-ridden neighborhoods and onto the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin, during the violent 2020 BLM riots. She was later tapped by former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino to host Bongino Report, named the #1 new podcast of 2024, before stepping away to campaign full-time for her husband’s congressional race and raise their newborn daughter.
