Matthew serves as video producer on the Foundation’s digital team. He is responsible for editing and curating video content across various social media platforms, including YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. 

In addition to video editing, Matthew also produces cutting-edge original video content to serve the massive online conservative community that YAF has helped cultivate over the years.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Matthew has worked in film and video production, as well as post-production, on various projects for Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, and Taco Bell.

Previously, Matthew fought the video culture war at the Daily Wire. Initially hired as a video editor, he quickly positioned himself as a video producer. In that role, he crafted countless mini-documentaries, advertisements, and digital shorts. One of Matthew’s biggest contributions at the Daily Wire was serving as the producer of The Comment Section with Brett Cooper, which garnered more than two million subscribers on YouTube in one year.

Matthew’s connection with YAF started long before his tenure at the Daily Wire when he became familiar with the organization’s work through YAF’s campus speeches featuring Daily Wire hosts.

Southern California-born, Matthew graduated from California State Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in film production. In 2021, Matthew left California when the Daily Wire set up shop in Nashville, Tennessee, where Matthew currently resides with his wife.

Matthew loves films and in his spare time enjoys watching movies and creating video content for his personal, recently-launched film review YouTube channel.
