Michael Alfonso is the GOP nominee for Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District and the youngest Republican congressional candidate in the country. If elected, he would make history as the first member of Congress born in the 21st century. Michael had a quintessential Wisconsin upbringing—hunting, fishing, and playing hockey and football. After spending his early childhood in the Northwoods, he moved to central Wisconsin, where he met his future wife, Evita Duffy, at Newman Catholic High School. Michael went on to earn a mathematics degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, graduating debt-free by working construction to put himself through college. He later returned to the concrete industry in Northern Wisconsin before becoming a producer of The Dan Bongino Show, one of the nation’s top-rated conservative podcasts. Today, Michael and Evita are raising their young family in the same Northwoods that shaped them. Inspired by his roots and growing family, Michael is running for Congress to put Wisconsin families first and preserve the American Dream.
