Peter Sadowski was born in Warsaw, Poland, and moved to the United States at the age of 14 after his family was deported by the Polish Communist government. He learned English in high school in St. Louis, where he also attended college and law school. During his school years, Peter was a musician, earning money by playing the violin and singing.
Peter has had a successful career in law and business, beginning as a trial lawyer and later serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for major companies like Fidelity National Financial and Cannae Holdings. He also played a crucial role in bringing the Vegas Golden Knights, a National Hockey League team, to Las Vegas. In fact, when the team won the Stanley Cup a year ago, Peter was on the ice and lifted the Cup over his head.
Today, in addition to continuing his legal career, he is deeply involved in his community. He serves as a trustee for the Folded Flag Foundation, which supports the families of military personnel who were killed while serving our country, and the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, among other roles.
Peter’s journey from a young immigrant from communist Poland to a leader in his field is a testament to the value of the American dream. In 2020, the government of Poland restored Peter’s citizenship, which had been revoked by the communists when he was deported in 1968.
