In August, Abby Drass joined Young America’s Foundation’s team as a graphic designer at YAF’s national headquarters. After high school, Abby attended her local community college and graduated with a liberal arts associate degree.
She then took a gap year, during which she completed a master gardening course through Penn State University and graphic design courses at the local community college. She also worked on a flower farm outside of Washington, D.C., in Jeffersonton, Virginia.
Abby continued her education in graphic and interactive design at West Chester University, graduating in May 2020.
Abby and her husband were married in 2020 and recently moved to northern Virginia from Delaware County, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia.
As an emerging graphic and interactive designer, Abby aims to break complicated information down to a level that is easily absorbed and understood by the user.
Abby is especially passionate about fonts and type. She enjoys researching new and trending fonts while not forgetting to use the fonts that have stood the test of time. She finds great joy in seeing her designs evolve and come to life and watching each project unfold.
Abby loves spending time with family and friends, particularly while camping.
