Sofia Medina joined YAF’s team as a program officer for conferences and seminars at the Reagan Ranch Center.
She first attended the National Conservative Student Conference in July 2024 and was inspired to join YAF’s team in at the Reagan Ranch Center.
Born in Michigan, Sofia has moved eleven times and considers Texas, where she grew up, her home state. In addition to Michigan and Texas, Sofia has lived in North Dakota, Virginia, Colorado, California, Portugal, and Ireland.
Her experience abroad was instrumental in deepening her love for Ronald Reagan’s American values and ideals. Sofia studied abroad at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and finished her degree at Liberty University, majoring in history and minoring in international relations. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and German and aspires to learn more languages.
A true lover of history, Sofia continues to study history even out of college and particularly enjoys reading medieval history books and medieval Norse and British literature. Her other hobbies include swimming, reading and re-watching The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, and finding bookstores wherever she may be.
