Jewel Navarette joined YAF’s team as a program officer for campus advancement at the Reagan Ranch Center.
Jewel attended her first YAF conference in 2022 in Washington, D.C., where she was inspired to start a YAF chapter at New Mexico State University.
As founding chapter chairwoman, Jewel organized the 9/11: Never Forget Project, participated in several pro-life initiatives, and hosted a campus lecture featuring Matt Walsh.
The Walsh lecture garnered more than 500 attendees and 300 protestors. In retaliation to the lecture, a leftist state lawmaker called for unconstitutional restraint on student speech. Jewel and her chapter stood firm on their beliefs, even in the face of adversity.
In recognition of her efforts, her chapter was named Rookie Chapter of the Year in 2023.
Jewel is originally from El Paso, Texas. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
Jewel is excited to use her campus experience to help other chapters advance the Conservative Movement.
