When students tried to start a YAF chapter at the University of North Dakota, the school took issue with the club constitution. YAFers congregate around the general principles of the Sharon Statement – that is the whole purpose of the club. But he school did not want YAF to exercise their right to associate with likeminded conservatives. YAF assisted to student to navigate the bureaucracy and maintain membership criteria in the constitution.
