This year, we’re kicking things off with a growing schedule of middle school activities! New in 2024, you’ll have six different opportunities for the young person in your life to join Young America’s Foundation for an exploration of free minds, free markets, and entrepreneurship.
Offered in three locations across the country, students in grades 6-8 will learn about conservative ideas, what sets America apart, forge lasting friendships, and explore exciting locations:
On these interactive adventures, participants will enjoy:
“The middle school years are a particular time often not given enough credit,” remarked YAF’s Middle School Program Director Tawny Kilpper. “Many parents might feel it’s just a transitional phase, waiting for high school to come around, but that’s missing out on a real chance for impact. At the Young America Foundation, we know there’s something special about middle school students who are full of ideas and energy, not yet set in their ways or cynical.
Our Expeditions are designed to tap into that potential, spark their imagination, and show them the value of hard work, personal responsibility, and a deep love for family, faith, and country. Think of it as an adventure where 6th to 8th graders get their hands dirty with real-world challenges and lively debates that channel the spirit of explorers and the character and wisdom of Ronald Reagan.
We’re dedicated to equipping these young minds to think boldly and stand confidently for their beliefs. And we’re committed to cheering them on every step of the way because, at YAF, we believe this journey’s just the start of something great.”
