The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating numerous violent threats that were made against Jewish students at Cornell University Sunday afternoon.
The threats, which were anonymously posted to an online forum, include threats to “shoot up” a building that houses the university’s kosher dining hall, calls to “eliminate [J]ewish living” from campus, and calls to slit the throats of Jewish people.
“If [I] see another [J]ew on campus… if [I] see a pig male [J]ew, [I] will stab you and slit your throat,” one of the posts states. It goes on to threaten rape and beheading, among many more despicable threats.
The posts were immediately reported to campus police, and were subsequently forwarded to the FBI.
According to a statement by Martha Pollack, president of Cornell University, campus police will remain on site at the building that was targeted by the threats in order to ensure safety.
It is extremely disconcerting that this sort of vile, dehumanizing, and hateful rhetoric exists within the halls of modern college campuses in America.
Young America’s Foundation is committed to enabling students to stand up for Israel and the Jewish people throughout the world during this time of unthinkable distress.
