The Gender Equity Center and student government at Penn State University invited Feminista Jones, a known antisemite, to lead a workshop this evening on campus.
The “sex-positive” author of Reclaiming Our Space: How Black Feminists Are Changing the World from Tweets to the Streets has an extensive history of sharing her antisemitic thoughts on Twitter.
“What are yall women walking around smelling like the Jews that didn’t quite make it?” she wrote in one since-deleted tweet.
“I don’t care what drake said. It’s Hannukah, let that Jew Nigga cook!!” reads another deleted post.
She has also made numerous racist remarks about Asian people.
Ironically, the Gender Equity Center claims to be hosting Jones with the goal of encouraging “individuals, communities, organizations, and institutions to build racial equity and respect.”
“We denounce Feminista’s radical ideology and detest her divisive and discriminatory rhetoric,” Jack Kentner, chairman of the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at PSU, told the New Guard.
The Gender Equity Center’s spokeswoman was unavailable when reached for comment. This article will be updated accordingly.
