Just hours after publicizing that the University of Mississippi had revoked the venue for YAF’s upcoming Elisha Krauss lecture, Young America’s Foundation has learned that the university has apologized to the Young Americans for Freedom chapter, and offered a venue for the event. According to YAF chapter chairman Sarah Croft, the university’s provost called the group apologizing profusely for having the venue for Krauss revoked. “They said they were unaware this was happening, and the decision was made unilaterally…and it was not okay,” Croft told YAF. The lecture, part of Young America’s Foundation’s Robert and Patricia Herbold Lecture Series, is scheduled to take place in Ole Miss’ student union on November 13. The event is free and open to the public.
