Amy Varner serves as the Salesforce administrator at YAF’s National Headquarters, bringing more than 15 years of nonprofit experience. She demonstrates expertise in CRM management, platform optimization, and process automation.
Amy specializes in translating organizational needs into efficient Salesforce solutions that streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and support growth.
Amy began her Salesforce career at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where she served as the Salesforce administrator and developed expansive, hands-on expertise in the platform. At CPAC, she customized Salesforce to meet organizational needs, improved data quality and system structure, managed user access and permissions, and built workflows to support operational efficiency.
She also integrated and helped build the Aventri registration platform to streamline attendee data and event management processes. This foundational technical experience launched her ongoing career in Salesforce-driven organizational infrastructure.
Following her work at CPAC, Amy served as senior director of Salesforce administration and email communications at the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), where she directed Salesforce system governance, membership data infrastructure, user management, and automation across programs. She integrated the CVENT registration platform with Salesforce and developed data-connected event workflows that improved accuracy, efficiency, and attendee processing for ALEC conferences. In addition to her Salesforce leadership, she oversaw all email communications for the organization, including messaging strategy, segmentation, deliverability, and analytics.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her busy family and is deeply invested in her community, where she serves as PTA president to help foster collaboration between parents, teachers, and school leadership.
