Ellen recently joined Young America’s Foundation as a development officer. In her role, she will work with YAF’s supporters to steward their philanthropy and promote opportunities to invest in YAF’s mission.
Ellen is a multilingual fundraising professional with experience in various development roles at nonprofit and grantmaking organizations that promote individual liberty, the rule of law, and free markets worldwide.
Prior to joining YAF, Ellen served as the donor relations manager at Atlas Network, a classical liberal organization with an international footprint that supports hundreds of independent civil society organizations to advance the rule of law, free markets, and democracy. One of Ellen’s most noteworthy contributions was initiating the Ukraine Freedom Fund, which supported civil society organizations in Ukraine.
Ellen is originally from Georgia, a country in Eastern Europe that was once occupied by the Soviet Union, where Ronald Reagan is widely admired for his role in the dismantling of the “Evil Empire.” She moved to the United States at 17 to study political science at The George Washington University.
