Ilinca Biggs serves as a Senior Development Officer & Events Manager at Young America’s Foundation (YAF). She works closely with supporters across the country to advance YAF’s mission by advising supporters on how to achieve their philanthropic goals through strategic charitable giving. Ilinca also oversees and executes major supporter events around the country and donor engagement opportunities that inspire investment in the next generation of conservative leaders. Ilinca joined YAF in 2019 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with degrees in Political Science and International and Global Studies.
Born in Romania, Ilinca immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 11. Growing up with an understanding of the devastating consequences of Communism, she developed a deep appreciation for the freedoms and opportunities found only in America. This experience fuels her passion for educating young people about the principles of individual liberty, free enterprise, strong national defense, and limited government.
Before working at YAF, Ilinca was actively involved in conservative campaigns and advocacy organizations. She first encountered YAF as a freshman in college and quickly became engaged with the organization’s programs. During her time at UNCG, she attended several YAF conferences and partnered with the Foundation to bring conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza to campus. His book, Letters to a Young Conservative, played an important role in shaping her understanding of conservative principles and strengthening her commitment to the movement.
Today, Ilinca is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships with YAF supporters who share a commitment to preserving the values that have made America exceptional. She works with individuals and families to create lasting philanthropic impact in the conservative movement.
Ilinca is honored to serve Young America’s Foundation by contributing to our mission of inspiring young people to become principled conservative leaders. She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband, Jeffrey.
