Jessica serves as vice president & chief of staff at Young America’s Foundation.
She works directly with the president to help manage the administrative and operational aspects of Young America’s Foundation. In this capacity, she communicates the Foundation’s goals and initiatives with the Foundation’s entire team, board members, and key stakeholders.
Jessica edits and designs monthly and annual reports for the Foundation’s top supporters and board members, coordinates board meetings, and assists the President with day-to-day operations. Jessica also coordinates the Foundation’s annual cruises with our top supporters and key conservative leaders.
Prior to her role as vice president, Jessica served as chief of staff for four years. She was also editor of the Foundation’s magazine, Libertas, producing nearly 40 issues and served as assistant to the president for more than nine years. In this capacity, she oversaw the construction and design of the Foundation’s new national headquarters in Reston, Virginia. Jessica also oversaw the acquisition of YAF’s Capitol Hill Townhouse in 2018.
Jessica is originally from Hibbing, Minnesota—the heart of Minnesota’s Iron Range—and a graduate of The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. While at St. Scholastica, she served as chairman of her conservative club as well as state co-chair of the Minnesota CRs.
During college, Jessica worked as an intern in the White House’s Office of Media Affairs. Jessica graduated summa cum laude from St. Scholastica with a degree in English.
She became involved with the Foundation upon attending the annual Thomas Phillips Student Luncheon at CPAC.
Prior to joining the Young America’s Foundation staff, Jessica worked for the College Republican National Committee and was director of public relations for Accuracy in Media and Accuracy in Academia. In 2016, Jessica received the Young Conservatives Coalition’s William F. Buckley Jr. Award.
She and her husband currently reside in Alexandria, Virginia, with their son, Jackson, and furry best friends, Bella and Maverick.
