YAF is excited to welcome Kelleigh Clarke back to our team as director for foundation relations.
In this position, Kelleigh will work to cultivate relationships with key foundations and leading supporters through proposals, reports, and stewardship projects.
Kelleigh first became interested in policy and writing through her AP government course in high school. This prompted her to study English and political science at Grove City College and pursue an internship in her local congressman’s district office.
Kelleigh soon learned of Young America’s Foundation’s National Journalism Center and participated in the program during the summer of 2016, learning the ins-and-outs of the D.C. media landscape and advancing her writing skills.
After her college graduation in 2017, Kelleigh joined the Foundation’s team as the program officer for the National Journalism Center, working to recruit talented student journalists and place them in selective internships in media.
Two years later, she pursued an opportunity with Regnery Publishing to work in public relations. She has since come back to YAF’s team to work with some of the most dedicated supporters in the Conservative Movement.
Kelleigh is originally from the Pittsburgh area, and lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, Jacob.
