Matt joined Young America’s Foundation in January 2022 as a senior development officer at the Reagan Ranch Center.
Prior to joining YAF, Cutler served for six years as the director of development at the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy (SPP). In this role, he worked closely with the dean and other senior leadership to ensure the unique mission and vision of the school was implemented. SPP is the only right-of-center graduate policy school in the United States, and Cutler worked to engage friends and donors around this important mission.
Earlier in his career, Cutler served as vice president at the Tampa Bay Partnership (the regional economic development and public policy organization for the eight-county Tampa Bay region). He also spent 13 years in the private sector in various executive roles at the Two Men and a Truck, International, corporate office, and four years as a legislative aide for conservative state senators in Michigan.
Cutler’s interest in public policy began at a young age, and he grew up with President Reagan as his hero. He is a alumnus of Young America’s Foundation’s programs, having attended the 1992 National Conservative Student Conference in Washington, D.C., and has been involved in the Conservative Movement ever since. Cutler is married to, Jana, and has three boys (Reagan, Lincoln, and Grant) and three stepchildren (Alyson, Kelly, and Kyle).
