Max Whalen joined Young America’s Foundation after graduating from Cornell University in the spring of 2026 with a degree in government. While at Cornell, he served as president of the Cornell Republicans and worked with YAF to bring leading conservative voices to campus, including Michael Knowles, Ben Shapiro, and former United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Originally from Western New York, Max has a strong interest in politics, current events, and political philosophy. When he’s not following the news or reading political thought, he enjoys hiking and brewing a perfect cup of coffee.
As a development officer at YAF, Max is excited to support the next generation of conservative leaders and help strengthen the Conservative Movement that significantly shaped his college experience.
