Meredith Deferville serves as the assistant to the Director of the Reagan Ranch.
Meredith, a native Virginian, graduated from the University of Virginia in 2007 with a degree in government and history . While a student at UVA, Meredith wrote for The Virginia Advocate and lead the Network of Enlightened Women (NeW). Meredith attended CPAC each year during college and first learned about Young America’s Foundation when she attended the National Conservative Student Conference with YAF director, Kate Obenshain Keeler, in 2004. Meredith interned with Young America’s Foundation at the Reagan Ranch in the summer of 2006.
Meredith joined the YAF team in 2007 at the Reagan Ranch. She served as the manager of events and donor relations. She enjoyed sharing the Reagan Ranch with donors, planning events such as the Reagan 100 Celebration, assisting with student conferences and hearing from and meeting so many of President Reagan’s contemporaries. In 2013, Meredith stepped away from YAF to stay at home with her first son. She returned to YAF in the spring of 2023 to help plan the Reagan Ranch 25th Anniversary Gala.
Meredith and her husband, Mark, reside in Thousand Oaks, California with their four sons.
