Mitzi Lucas joins Young America’s Foundation as the event coordinator for the Reagan Ranch and Reagan Ranch Center, bringing over 23 years of professional expertise. A native Californian, Mitzi returns to her home state with a deep-seated commitment to preserving the legacy and timeless principles of President Ronald Reagan.
Mitzi’s extensive career is rooted in serving mission-driven organizations that champion traditional values. Most recently, she served as a leadership programs coordinator for the Florida Farm Bureau Federation, where she managed statewide conferences and developed specialized curricula for leadership classes.
Her background in the advancement space is particularly robust. As director of advancement for both St. John Paul II and Central Catholic High Schools, she spearheaded comprehensive fundraising initiatives, managed large-scale gala events, and oversaw multi-channel brand management to increase institutional support.
Beyond education and agriculture, Mitzi’s experience includes serving as a governmental affairs manager for the Turlock Irrigation District, where she represented the district’s positions before state and federal legislators and analyzed regulatory developments.
A proactive advocate for conservative principles, Mitzi’s connection with Young America’s Foundation began with helping students at Central Catholic High School start a YAF Chapter.
Her diverse experience has equipped her with a unique ability to build lasting relationships and execute high-impact events. Inspired by President Reagan’s connection to the land and his “Western spirit,” she is dedicated to ensuring that every visitor to the Reagan Ranch experiences the excellence, enduring legacy, and values championed by YAF.
