Rhett became involved with Young America’s Foundation after attending the National Conservative Student Conference in 2021. He joined the development team at the Reagan Ranch Center in August 2025.
Originally from South Carolina, Rhett was raised in a conservative household where his parents instilled in him a deep love for America and the principles championed by President Ronald Reagan. His first introduction to YAF came when his father showed him Rendezvous with Destiny, a documentary produced in partnership with YAF and narrated by Newt Gingrich.
Rhett holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication from North Greenville University (2023) and a Master’s in strategic communication from Liberty University (2025). He is eager to apply his experience and passion toward advancing YAF’s mission and cultivating meaningful relationships with supporters.
Outside of his work with YAF, Rhett enjoys playing the drums, hiking, listening to Ben Shapiro, and spending time with friends and family. He is also an avid fan of the Beach Boys.
