Spencer Brown is the chief communications officer for Young America’s Foundation.
Prior to rejoining the YAF team, he was managing editor at Townhall.com. Spencer’s reporting on national security and foreign policy took him to Israel, Taiwan, and the U.S.-Mexico border in addition to day-in, day-out coverage of the federal government, 2022 midterm elections, U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and 2024 presidential contest. In addition, Spencer was a media fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (’23).
Previously, Spencer served for more than five years as YAF's digital director, then spokesman. At his alma mater, Spencer was active in Young Americans for Freedom and attended the Foundation’s student programs before graduating from YAF’s National Journalism Center (Summer ’14).
Spencer is a Townhall.com columnist and a regular guest on Fox News Channel shows such as "Special Report" and "Fox News at Night” and his writing has appeared in The Hill, USA Today, The Washington Examiner, and The Federalist.
