Walker Owsley serves as senior content creator on Young America’s Foundation’s digital media team, working from Nashville, Tennessee. He specializes in short-form video content and meme creation to drive growth on YAF’s social media channels.

Walker is originally from Franklin, Tennessee, and graduated from Covenant College in 2020, where he studied psychology and French.

He continued his studies after graduation by participating in a semester-long French immersion program at the University of Strasbourg in Strasbourg, France.

He first heard about Young America’s Foundation during college, when he watched a clip of Ben Shapiro debating a student at one of his YAF campus lectures.

After finishing his studies, Walker returned to Nashville. Eventually, his fervor for conservative values and cutting-edge content creation landed him an internship at the Daily Wire, which had just moved its headquarters from California to Nashville.

After honing his skills during his internship, he became a full-time social media content creator on the Daily Wire’s marketing team.

He specialized in meme content and helped Ben Shapiro and Andrew Klavan grow their social media following. He also helped plan the release of Matt Walsh’s What Is A Woman? documentary on Twitter, which reached more than 170 million views in a single weekend after Elon Musk personally endorsed the film.

Walker is an active member in his church, leading worship regularly. He loves music, comedy, and spending time with his family.

Walker looks forward to spreading the message of conservatism to young people through social media and connecting with YAF’s supporters, staff, and students.
