When the Kansas Statute University YAF chapter invited Chloe Cole to speak on the dangers of transgender ideology, the school attempted to charge ridiculous security fees based on the content of the speech. YAF reminded the school of their duty to remain viewpoint neutral and protect all, even disfavored, points of view. In the midst of this dispute, police showed up while the chapter was chalking for the event, responding to a purported “disturbance,” and someone began erasing chalk at another location. The students demanded the Dean of Students investigate. The Dean refused to acknowledge who erased the chalk, but did back down on security costs.
