According to an event listing discovered by the New Guard, leftist students at SUNY Broome Community College are hosting a bake sale “to fundraise for the war going on in Palestine.”
The bake sale, which is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, will be hosted by the school’s Muslim Student Association (MSA).
The MSA, which purports to be an organization dedicated to facilitating a “welcoming environment,” has been largely inactive for the past two school years. It’s very telling that students’ motivation to reboot the organization is a result of current events in the Middle East.
It’s certainly not likely that Jewish students will feel welcomed while cookies and cupcakes are being sold to fund brutal terrorism against their people and homeland.
“They’re raising money to slaughter babies and rape women,” Michael Benin, a Jewish Young Americans for Freedom chapter leader, told the New Guard. “It’s no surprise though,” he continued. “Just as it was historically, it is now; They hate Jews and see us as second-class human beings. That’s how they justify taking innocent Israeli lives as well as those of their own. Anything to create Martyrs to rally for their cause. And what is that cause exactly? Some twisted, Nazi propaganda to wipe us from this Earth. Where do these students even think that money will go? Palestine has received millions of dollars in support for decades and yet the condition in which people live is unchanged. Instead of procuring desalination tanks and growing their economy, money has gone into building rockets and digging tunnels. So, when liberals cry that there is no food, water, or electricity, in Gaza, they should reflect on the fact that when you point your finger, three more are pointing back at you.”
The Muslim Student Association National has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and, in some cases, a troubling record of sympathy and support for terrorist organizations.
In an old clip that has recently gone viral from a YAF campus lecture featuring David Horriwitz, an MSA student refused to denounce Hamas.
The New Guard sent an inquiry to the institution’s communications office as well as Hiba Khan, who serves as president of the MSA and vice president of the student government, seeking an explanation as to why American college students are raising funds in support of a military effort that has ruthlessly murdered thousands of innocent lives, including children, throughout the past two weeks. This article will be updated should they respond.
