Ahead of Michael Knowles’ highly anticipated lecture at the University of Utah this evening, some faculty members have banded together to push back against his common sense logic by quite literally wearing their bias on their sleeves.
“Some of the faculty and students are just wearing some stuff to, like, be affirming,” an unidentified faculty member in the School of Social Work said in a scene that unfolded on camera.
“You should see what the lobby is like – pride flags everywhere!”
The faculty member said that they hope to ensure that students feel supported while Knowles is on campus. When asked if she also hopes the YAF chapter feels supported, she said “I hope so” and quickly scurried off.

In response to the leftist decoration of the building’s atrium, YAF asked the dean of the college of social work if they would be allowed to post an American Flag for every single Trans or Pride flag that was placed. They were told no.
Last week, Utah YAF Chairwoman Lucy Atwood and a fellow chapter member were ambushed in an off-campus Trader Joe’s parking lot by an irate leftist who was upset to see them posting flyers promoting the event.
Knowles’s speech, sponsored by the Utah Young Americans for Freedom chapter and part of the Logan Family Lecture Series, is titled “No Child Is In the Wrong Body.” The event is free and open to the public.
