Demanding divestments from entities with ties to Israel by their school, leftist students and community agitators at the University of Michigan aggressively broke through a police line Friday evening to occupy an administrative building.
This incident comes just one day after the University of Michigan’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter coordinated a heavily protested pro-Israel campus lecture by Newsweek’s Josh Hammer, and two weeks before the student body will vote on a ballot question seeking to declare Israel a genocidal terrorist state.

Chanting “no justice, no peace,” the group mobbed the doorways of the Ruthven Administrative Building and shoved police aside, as seen in a video posted to X by independent reporter Brendan Gutenschwager.
Students moved into the building’s rotunda, where they intend to stay until their divestment demands are met.

The campus, where tensions between supporters of Israel and those of Hamas are clearly on the rise, will cast votes November 28-30 to determine whether or not the student body will officially accuse Israel of genocide.
Students are being led to side with Hamas – and even Osama Bin Laden – by the radical Left. Young America’s Foundation will continue to provide students nationwide with the resources they need to stand with Israel.
