Western Oregon University held a workshop Thursday evening designed to train early childhood teachers to indoctrinate young children into the Left’s confusing and nonsensical gender ideology.
The Zoom workshop, which was led by WOU’s faculty “sexpert” Teresa Ashford, had more than 50 teachers in attendance.
Ashford opened with a warning that everything said during the meeting is confidential, and that anyone who challenges her teachings will be removed from the training session.
She presented a diagram of the “gender unicorn” as a convenient tool for the pre-kindergarten through third grade teachers to use when “explaining” the leftist concepts to their students.
“This is important so that we have a shared language,” she remarked.
“Gender identity is your innate sense of your own gender. Some kids know it as young as two, some kids by age four know, there’s a lot of variability. And the best way to think about gender identity is it’s what’s in your heart and what’s in your mind.”
She went on to show a video produced by Planned Parenthood that aims to convince parents that their children’s normal childhood behaviors may be indicators that they are “transgender.”
Unfortunately, the Left has achieved an alarming level of success in its efforts to indoctrinate young people, in early childhood and beyond. Young America’s Foundation recently partnered with Paula Scanlan to speak with students at Saint Louis University and get their thoughts on the topic. Only two were willing to confidently speak out in favor of reality.
