Freedom Isn’t Guaranteed.
It must be defended.

At the Reagan Ranch, students discover that freedom doesn’t come from government—it depends on personal responsibility, hard work, and the courage to lead.

As part of YAF’s Freedom at 250 initiative, this Expedition helps students understand what it takes to preserve liberty and how they can play a role.

President Reagan’s Rancho del Cielo, his home for 25 years and the “Western White House”, reflects the character and conviction that shaped his leadership and belief in the American Dream.

On this adventure, students will:

  • Meet like-minded friends and inspiring mentors
  • Engage in interactive, hands-on learning
  • Learn from dynamic speakers
  • Walk in the President Reagan’s footsteps
  • Ride in jeeps to his favorite vistas
  • Build leadership and communication skills

This one-day Expedition begins and ends at the Reagan Ranch Center in downtown Santa Barbara. Students will explore the ideas that shaped President Reagan and discover why free markets and personal responsibility matter.

They’ll leave ready to lead—and ready to make a difference.
